Hilldale Community Association

Our planned events

Our primary objective is to bring together the Hilldale community.  We try to achieve this by holding a number of events throughout the year.  Over the next few months we will hold the following events:

  • The Hilldale Coffee Morning.  It is held every month in the Hilldale Village Hall on the last Saturday EXCEPT for May, August and December.  As well as coffee [or tea or soft drink] and homemade cakes, Gary uses locally sourced produce to make his superb bacon and sausage butties.  Why not come along for breakfast?.  Come and join us from 10.30 until 12.00. The next few are on 29th September, 27th October and 24th November.
We will hold a number of events in 2018.
15th September - The Hilldale BBQ.  It will start at about 2:00 pm at the Village Hall and Playing Field.
29th September - There will be a Dog Walk event alongside the Coffee Morning - details at: https://en-gb.facebook.com/HCA2003
11th October - Annual General Meeting - come and have your say!

We are very fortunate to be generously sponsored by the  shop in Mawdesley.

TICKETS for entertainment evenings:
Ticket prices are set for each event and they can be
reserved by email to tickets@hilldale-ca.org or by text to 07957 135 961.  To pay for tickets please use one of the methods suggested on the Buy your tickets page.

Your ideas:

If you have a suggestion for different types of events please send them to us using the Contacts page or why not come along to one of our meetings: ask a committee member for the date and time of the next one.

Please note that we cannot hold Bingo or Race night evenings in the Village Hall as there is a covenant in the deeds which specifically prohibits gambling.  If there is enough interest, we would consider renting the function room at the Farmers Arms - please let us know by sending a note from the Contacts Page.

Other local events:

Brave the heat, bare your soles and raise money for a worthy cause by taking part in the Rainbow House charity fire walk on Saturday 6th October at The Highfield, Croston.

Registrations are being taken now and places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
